Really... was there any doubt?

Turns out I know more than the doctor who saw me. I indeed have a sinus infection.

On Thursday I went to a clinic at Walgreens (more on that later) and ended up with 3 prescriptions. Today is the first day that I really feel among the living - and even now it is questionable.

Today was my grandma's surprise party.

I went in and grabbed her and her lunch and went back to her room - making up some story about being worried that people would think I was contagious. We sat there for an our or so, chatting about all kinds of things. Finally, the call came to take her to the dining room, where family and friends were waiting.

My grandma and grandpa always sang (church choir, community singing groups, barbershop quartet) so my mom hired a barbershop quartet to come in and perform.

It was the happiest that I have seen my grandma since my grandpa died (which she pointed out more than once will be a year this coming Monday.)

After the party a few of us went to a place called chicken Manor (thus continuing the "places that made me fat tour") and I am now back at my brothers with a few movies, ready to curl up on the couch and work on getting better.

Tomorrow is Shelby's Dora extravaganza 3rd birthday, Monday we are taking my grandma out and Tuesday we head home to finish packing.
